STEPS TO MAINTAIN A GOOD SPIRITUAL WALK!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, behave like a mentsh, grow strong.” (1 Corinthians 16:13)

Be alert and on your guard; stand firm in your faith, your conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, keeping the trust and holy fervour born of faith and a part of it. Act like men and be courageous; grow in strength!

STEPS TO MAINTAIN A GOOD SPIRITUAL WALK

We Must Be Strong In The Grace (2 Timothy 2:1-2/ Titus 2:11-12)
We must spend time in prayer and meditation of the word. Listening to God and obeying His instruction. It is our ultimate duty to remember that by His grace alone, we are saved.

His grace imparted blessings upon us. God’s grace brought about our salvation.
Our justification is by God’s grace.
God’s grace brought our hope and stability in life.

God’s grace gave us boldness and endurance. His grace brought us into ministry and endued us with strength.

God’s grace helps us in the time of suffering and trials. By His grace, we can preach/teach and evangelise the heathen world. Therefore, we must earnestly stand strong in our faith and grace.

We Must Endure Hardship (2 Timothy 2:3)
Test and trials will surely come our way, but we must always count it all joy (James 1:2-4). We must not murmur (Philippians 2:14-15). We must not falter. We must not quit but believe in the miracle. Surely God Almighty will intervene supernaturally.

We must not put down our shield of faith. Rather, we must stand firmly in our faith to see the salvation of God. When the devil intensifies his attack, then we must change our gear to warfare and militancy.

Remember, the devil has turned violent because he knows that his time is short (Revelations 12:12). Therefore, we must turn aggressive and spiritually violent against Satan and his hosts.

In the course of our spiritual walk, if hardship comes, we must endure it. We must stand our ground on our faith and refuse to yield or budge for Satan. (1 Corinthians 16:13)

We Must Not Get Entangled (2 Timothy 2:4-7)
We have been called to live the high standard of life in Christ Jesus. As such, we are not supposed to be tied down or entangled with this world affairs. We are not to be tied down with the natural realm.

Being entangled with these world affairs will lead to defeat and failures. We must make time for God now. Do not let your career/family/business or anything else keep you from being with God.

If we are so sold out to the world without God, surely defeat is eminent (James 4:4). Our most important and primary priority in life is our time with God.

We Must Keep In View Christ’s Resurrection (2 Timothy 2:8-11)
By the resurrection of Christ, we are victorious when the devil says that we are defeated. We must meditate on (1 Corinthians 15:57/2 Corinthians 2:14-15/Isaiah 54:10,15,17)
We may be knocked down, but we are not knocked out. (Proverbs 24:16)

We Must Remain Faithful All The Way (2 Timothy 2:12-14)
Do not forget that all who live godly will suffer (2 Timothy 3:12). Therefore, do not compromise but stand steadfastly for Christ and His cross. Exercise humility and dependence on God for supernatural intervention.

Study and Meditate On The Word (2 Timothy 2:15/Josh 1:8)
Never quit studying and meditating on the word. Paul, the apostle commands constant zeal for the word of God. The good workman will properly handle or cut straight the word of God rather than twist it, as did the false teachers.

We Must Avoid Argument (2 Timothy 2:16-18)
Shun and avoid foolish arguments. Do not enter into conflict with people because of differences in doctrines rather fellowship with them on the basis that Jesus died and rose again for our justification and He is the Lord of all.

Purified Yourself From All Known Sin (2 Timothy 2:19-21)

Fellowship With The Faithfuls (2 Timothy 2:22-26)

Continue On The Holy Walk Based On What You Have Learnt (2 Timothy 1:9/3:14)

THE LORD GOD WILL KEEP YOU FROM FALLING IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!

Everybody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!

Shalom and good morning.
