Ministry

The Intercessory ministry engages in spiritual warfare through the transformative power of prayer to bridge the gap for DLCC and the Church.

    DLCC Office at 9:00am – 9:30am.

  • First Thursday of the month

    Zoom from 8.00pm – 9:30pm.

FAQs

We are a spiritual bridge between the DLCC and God. Therefore our weekly intercessory prayer focus include:

  • Interceding for pastors, leaders, and other individuals in positions of authority within the church, praying for wisdom, guidance, and spiritual strength.
  • Seeking protection for the church community against spiritual attacks, challenges, and obstacles.

Our Senior Pastor directs the prayer focus for the season that includes:

  • Praying for the church to submit themselves before the LORD and offer up acceptable offerings of praise and worship during the service.
  • Praying for the servant of God to teach the pure and unadulterated Word of God with power and authority.

All including non-members who are led by the Holy Spirit to pray and stand in the gap for DLCC are welcome to join our Sunday pre-service prayer at the conference room for 30 minutes at 9am.

Just come.

No appointment is required.

As we engage in spiritual warfare, intercessors are expected to be committed and faithful to prayer and rise to the responsibility to stand in the gap for DLCC and its members.

If you have the spiritual gifts of tongues, we encourage you to exercise it during our prayer meetings.

The intercessory ministry’s core purpose is to intercede for DLCC and the Sunday service.

Some of us started our Christian walk by joining Sunday pre-service prayer meetings to strengthen our prayer discipline.

Over time, it became clear that this was God’s designated ministry for us, evidenced by a strong desire to pray for the church and a weekly anticipation of praying for the body of Christ.

We start the session with an opening prayer to commit the session to God and close the session in prayer corporately. This can be performed by our Intercessory ministry leader or an appointed member of the intercessory ministry.

We encourage everyone to use the spiritual gift of tongues when praying openly.

The focus of each pre-service prayer is corporate focused. Meaning, it is to uphold DLCC and the Sunday Service.

For personal needs, you may want to approach our leaders or trusted friends within DLCC to pray with and for you.
