LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

The tongue has power over life and death; those who indulge it must eat its fruits.” (Proverbs 18:21)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it for death or life.

LIFE AND DEATH ARE IN THE POWER OF THE TONGUE

God has given us two ears, two eyes, and one tongue to the end that we should hear and see more than we speak.

Criticism can be avoided by saying nothing, doing nothing and being nothing.
Therefore, nobody raises his own reputation by lowering others.

The tongue is an insignificant member of the human body. It has become a stumbling block in many lives. It is a rough edge or hindrance that must be dealt with.

The problem with the tongue cuts across various age groups, colour, race, social, or educational status. The good Lord has given us the tongue as a blessing, but it is unfortunate that this little member in our body has become a stumbling block in many lives.

The tongue can be either a blessing or a blunder. It can contribute to the glory of God or be a source of agony in our lives.
It can bring honour or hatred.

PROVERBS 18:21
Two things are mentioned here in connection with the tongue: (a) Death and (b) Life. Both are resident in it. Firstly, life includes – eternal life, abundant life, and happy contented life. These are all in the power of the tongue.

Through life in the tongue, we can reap good health, success, progress, fellowship, warm interpersonal relationships, intimacy with God, answered prayers, miracles, deliverance and the list is unending.

Through our tongues, we can pray, make positive confessions, encourage others and build up their faith.

With our tongues, we can command blessings upon our lives and bring prosperity into our business. Patients can flood a particular doctor’s clinic because of the right use of the tongue.

It is the tongue, not the beauty of a woman, that makes a distant husband keep calling every time. The tongue of the preacher can inspire love in the heart of his congregation. There is life in the tongue. On the other hand, there is death also in the tongue.

By your word, you will be justified and by Your word you will be condemned. The choice is yours.

TAME YOUR TONGUE AND SAVE YOUR LIFE.

Somebody shout, “I HEARD IT!

Shalom and good morning.
