“ABOUND MORE IN LOVE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“And this is my prayer: that your love may more and more overflow in fullness of knowledge and depth of discernment, so that you will be able to determine what is best and thus be pure and without blame for the Day of the Messiah” (Philippians 1:9-10)

This I pray: that your love may abound yet more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight, that your love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment.

So that you may surely learn to sense what is vital, and approve and prize what is excellent and of real value, recognizing the highest and the best, distinguishing the moral differences, and that you may be untainted, pure unerring and blameless so that with hearts sincere, certain and unsullied, you may approach the day of Christ not stumbling nor causing others to stumble.

The secret of contentment is knowing how to enjoy what you have and be able to lose all desires for things beyond your reach.

A creed for us all: Silence when your words would hurt.
Patience when your neighbor is blunt.
Deafness when the scandal flows.
Thoughtfulness for others distress.

Promptness when stern duty calls. Courage when misfortune falls.
Remember, a temper is a valuable possession, don’t lose it.

Where can I find comfort and encouragement in the time of challenges?
Where do you find comfort and encouragement when you need it most?
Unbelievers find comfort and joy in clubbing, drinking parties, but that is not for a child of God (1 Peter 4:3-4).

Unbelievers find joy in alcohol and drug abuse, but that is not for a believer (Proverbs 20:1 / 23:29-35).

Some people lash out vulgarity in order to let out the steam of discomfort, but a true child of God praises God at such times. That’s not for a born-again believer. (Eph 4:29-30)

So, discard every form of dishonesty and lying so that you will be known as one who always speaks the truth, for we all belong to one another. But don’t let the passion of your emotions lead you to sin! Don’t let anger control you or be fuel for revenge, not for even a day.

YOU ARE SPECIAL TO GOD, THEREFORE UPKEEP YOUR DIVINE ATTRIBUTES IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!
