“THE WORKS OF FAITH!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Trusting is being confident of what we hope for, convinced about things we do not see. It was for this that Scripture attested the merit of the people of old. By trusting, we understand that the universe was created ……” (Hebrews 11:1-3,6)

Now, faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.

This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke, and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.

Without faith living within us, it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that He is real and that He rewards the faith of those who passionately seek Him.

THE WORKS OF FAITH

By faith, kingdoms were subdued. (Joshua 12:2)
Righteousness was wrought. (Genesis 15:6)

Promises were obtained. (Numbers 14:30)
Lions’ mouths were stopped. (Daniel 6)

Fiery furnace was quenched. (Daniel 3)
People escaped swords. (1 Samuel 17)
The weak were made strong. (Hebrews 11:11)

Men waxed valiant in battle. (2 Samuel 23:8-23)
Armies were put to flight. (1 Samuel 17:51)

Dead children resurrected. (1 Kings 17:17-24)
Men endured torture and mocking (Genesis 39:20 /Jeremiah 37:16)

Men suffered stoning. (2 Chronicles 24:21)
Men suffered temptation. (Genesis 39:1-17)

FAITH IS BASED ON GOD’S WORD, NOT ON FEELINGS OF THE FLESH.
