“HOW TO MANAGE YOUR BAD DAY”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“They said to him, ‘This is what Hizkiyahu says: “Today is a day of trouble, rebuke, and disgrace. Children are ready to be born, but there is no strength to bring them to birth. Maybe Adonai, your God, will hear all the words of Rav-Shakeh, whom his master the king of Ashur has sent to taunt the living God…”‘” (2 Kings 19:3-4)
They said to him, Hezekiah says: This is a day of extreme danger and distress, of rebuke and chastisement, and blasphemy and insolent insult; for children have come to the birth, and there is no strength to bring them forth.
It may be that the Lord your God will hear all the words of the Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria has sent to mock, reproach, insult, and defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which the Lord your God has heard. So raise your prayer for the remnant of His people that is left.
King Hezekiah and the people of Judah managed their bad day by trusting in God.
HOW TO MANAGE YOUR BAD DAY
When we talk about “A bad day,” we are talking about a particular day, week, month, year, period or season when everything about you went wrong. It could also be a time and season when things of life concerning you seemed to be all wrong or going wrong.
Before one can turn his or her defeat and failure to victory and success, that individual must know and have the power of conviction. It is the power of conviction that enables us to turn losses to gain, waste to dividend, deficit to surplus, forfeiture to bonus and extra gain.
What is conviction? Conviction is the same as creed, belief, faith, principle, tenet, persuasion, etc. Every believer, leaders included will experience both good and bad days.
Even the most spiritual believer and the greatest leader sometimes faces dry patches and become discouraged at one point or another.
Examples Of The Discouraged:
Elijah, Jonah, Christ’s disciples,
Jeremiah etc.
David was also discouraged but he strengthened himself in the Lord. Then David and the men with him lifted up their voices and wept until they had no more strength to weep.
David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God. (1Samuel 30:4, 6)
STRENGTHEN YOURSELF IN THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY ON YOUR BAD DAY.
Somebody shout, “THANK YOU JESUS!”
Shalom and good morning.
