“ALL THINGS WORK FOR GOOD TO THOSE WHO LOVE ADONAI & ARE CALLED ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with his purpose…” (Romans 8:28-29)

We are assured and know that God, Adonai Yahweh being a partner in our labour will let all things work together and fit into plans for good to and for us who love Him and are called according to His design and purpose.

For us whom He foreknew, of whom He was aware and loved beforehand, He also destined from the beginning, foreordaining us to be molded into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ and share inwardly His likeness, that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.

LET US GO THROUGH THE EPISODE SURROUNDING KING DAVID’S ACHIEVEMENTS AND SUCCESS

His encounter with wild animals (1Samuel 17:34-37). He had success because he knew he was chosen for success.

He faced Goliath and had success (1Samuel 17:45-51). God’s promise to us to run over our troop (2Samuel 22:30).

David faced the uphill of Saul’s envy and jealousy (1Samuel 18:6-16). But David behaved wisely (4 times vs 5/14/15/30)

Saul set a vicious trap for David by requiring 100 foreskins of the Philistines as dowry for marrying his older daughter (1Samuel 18:17-27). Yet David achieved success.

David came to the cave of the Adullam where social parasites, useless men, discouraged and debtors (400) gathered to him. He achieved success by transforming them (1Samuel 22:1-2).

David had every opportunity to kill Saul, but he did not because he knew he was chosen for success (1Samuel 24:19-20). (David said: – vs 13-15)

David spares Saul’s life the second time (1Samuel 26:11-14).

David temporarily lost his family and the families of his men, including all their possession to the Amalekites, yet he strengthened himself in the Lord his God (1Samuel 30:4 & 6) Temporary set back is not a defeat, but it all depends on your attitude.

David would have been discouraged or frightened because of the lions, bears, Goliath or the temporary set back by the Amalekites, but he had a right attitude and knowing that he was chosen for success.

ARE YOU KNOCKED DOWN NOW, BUT YOU ARE NOT KNOCKED OUT YET, IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!

Somebody shout, “AMEN & AMEN!

Shalom and good morning.
