THE CUTTING EDGE FOR EVERYTHING IS TO WAIT FOR GOD’S TIMING!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

Adonai said to Sh’mu’el, ‘How much longer are you going to go on grieving for Sha’ul, now that I have rejected him as king over Isra’el? Fill your horn with oil, and set out; I will send you to Yishai the Beit-Lachmi because I have chosen myself a king from among his sons.’” (1Samuel 16:1)

The Lord said to Samuel, How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil; I will send you to Jesse the Bethlehemite. For I have provided for Myself a king among his sons.

When God calls and chooses you, He will anoint you for success.
What is success? Literally, it means the accomplishment of what is desired. So we can actually say that success is the fulfilment of God’s will and plans.

CONSIDER THE CALLING OF KING DAVID (1 Samuel 16:12-13)

Jesse sent and brought him. David had a healthy reddish complexion and beautiful eyes and was fine-looking. The Lord said to Samuel, “Arise, anoint him; this is he.” Then Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed David in the midst of his brothers; and the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David from that day forward.

Notice that David did not choose himself, but God did. This is in line with John 15:16.
David was chosen and anointed to be king, but he had to wait for the ordained and divinely appointed time. (Greek – Kairos)

(Ecclesiastes 3:1) There is time for everything. Remember “The cutting edge” of everything, including the calling of God to any individual or group of people, is the “Timing.”

As you begin to move towards the things God has chosen you to do, definitely there will be resistance and attacks but remember that problems and troubles do not indicate failure or defeat. It is comforting to know that any event of our lives are under the control of our compassionate, gracious, long suffering and faithful God.

If tragedy strikes, we have to wait patiently for the hour of redemption. This is the broadest way of understanding God’s sovereign rule. Nothing happens without His knowledge. That is why He is Omniscient.

Golden rule “ALMIGHTY GOD IS IN CONTROL” (Romans 8:28). Endurance will produce character (Romans 5:3-4).

DON’T QUIT, FOR A QUITTER NEVER WINS!

Somebody shout, “THANK YOU, JESUS!
Shalom and good morning.
