Beloved in the Lord,
From Genesis to Revelation, God Almighty promises to protect you from all the plots and plans of the enemy. That does not mean the enemy would not try to attack or that unfortunate events will not assault you, but the Bible declares that “for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…” (2 Chronicles 16:9). This is a promise you can lay claim to for your life!
As your DIVINE PROTECTOR:
- God is your “Hiding Place” (Psalm 32:7) – preserving you from trouble and surrounding you with songs of deliverance.
- God is your “Strong Tower” (Proverbs 18:10) – a fortified place of safety for you to run into.
- God is your “Shield” (Psalm 33:20) – to help you in hard times, lifting your head when you are down as you wait for Him.
- God is your “Mountain” (Psalm 125:2) – surrounding you as the mountains surround and protect Jerusalem.
- God is your “Rock and Fortress” (Psalm 31:3) – you will not be moved or unprotected but guided by His Great Name.
- God by the irresistible power of His Spirit, will overwhelm your adversary (Isaiah 59:19).
It is important to know that being in the center of God’s will does not mean you will escape all trouble. You can be sure that the devil will do his best to knock you off track because that is his way of doing things. However, being in God’s will provides you with divine protection even in the midst of troubling situations.
When you are tempted to throw in your towel, you need to stop and ask yourself some soul-searching questions:
- Have I finished the job God gave me to do?
- Have I completed every part of my divine assignment in this place?
- What will happen to the work if I leave now?
- Will souls be lost for eternity?
- Can I leave with a clear conscience, knowing in my heart that my job is completed?
I encourage you to stay in God’s will even when the going is tough. If you are determined to stand where He has planted you and you refuse to move from His revealed will for your life, you will experience divine favor, abundant provision and supernatural protection. Hallelujah!
A blessed Father’s Day to all the fathers in DLCC!
Shalom in Jesus’ love,
