“DIVINE APPOINTMENT FOR FATHERS”
A BLESSED AND HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THE FATHERS AND SONS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS!
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“You, therefore, pray like this: ‘Our Father in heaven! May your Name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as in heaven. Give us the food we need today……'” (Matthew 6:9-12)
Pray, therefore, like this: Our Father Who is in heaven, hallowed (kept holy) be Your name.
Manifest your kingdom realm, and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is in heaven.
We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day. Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.
DIVINE APPOINTMENT FOR FATHERS
Faith and fear sail into the harbour of the mind, but only faith must be allowed to anchor.
Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, but faith looks up.
A wise and godly son makes a glad father.
The most important thing a father can do for his children is to love their mother truly.
The Almighty God has appointed the fathers to represent him in families, workplaces, in the society and the world at large. God has also laid out the ladder for us to achieve our divine responsibilities for His glory. This ladder that God has laid out has four rungs:
Determination, Dedication, Discipline and Attitude.
Determine to honour God (Malachi 1:6). It is God’s will for us to honour Him with our possessions. It is God’s will for us to honour Him with the first fruits of all our increase so that our barns will be filled with plenty and our vats overflow with new wine (Proverbs 3:9-13).
We must be dedicated to God’s cause and our family (Joshua 24:15).
We must be disciplined in the affairs of our lives.
We must have godly attitudes in order to reach our altitudes.
Characteristics Of An Ideal Christian Father
Unconditional Love.
Kindness in words and in actions.
Goodness and pure motives.
Faithfulness in big and small things.
Gentleness to all and in all our dealings.
Self-control in the things of life.
Remember: God is the Father of the Fatherless (Psalm 68:5).
God, our Father has pity on us (Psalm 103:13).
We have one Father (Malachi 2:10).
The Almighty God is our Father (Isaiah 63:16).
We have one God and He is the Father of all (Ephesians 4:6)
Father’s, remember that you represent God in all things for His glory and honour in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Everybody shout, AMEN HALLELUJAH!
Shalom and good morning.
