“CONQUERING THE GIANTS”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“He who wins the victory will, like them, be dressed in white clothing; and I will not blot his name out of the Book of Life; in fact, I will acknowledge him individually before my Father and before his angels” (Revelation 3:5).
Thus shall he who conquers and is victorious be clad in white garments, and I will not erase or blot out his name from the Book of Life; I will acknowledge him as Mine and I will confess his name openly before My Father and before His angels.
CONQUERING THE GIANTS
The children of Israel fought and won many battles. God used various ways and weapons to give them victory every time they trusted in Him.
The events of their national history are written for our learning and admonition, so that our confidence may be rooted in the Lord.
A little stone from David’s sling penetrated Goliath’s forehead and brought him down. “Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth” (1 Samuel 17:49).
A somewhat useless and insignificant jawbone of an ass in Samson’s hand slew a thousand Philistines. “He found a fresh jawbone of a donkey, reached out his hand and took it, and killed a thousand men with it” (Judges 15:15).
Deborah’s army, under the command of Barak, celebrated their victory over one of Israel’s arch-foes because of the effective use of a hammer and nail by a woman.
“Then Jael, Heber’s wife, took a tent peg and took a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went down into the ground; for he was fast asleep and weary. So he died” (Judges 4:21).
When the Almighty God wants to move a mountain, He doesn’t need a dynamite but by His word miracles happen. Believe and it shall be well with you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Sabbath shalom and good morning.
