“POWER TO RETAIN BLESSINGS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Keep your lives free from the love of money; and be satisfied with what you have; for God himself has said, ‘I will never fail you or abandon you.’ Therefore, we say with confidence, ‘Adonai is my helper; I will not be afraid — what can a human being do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:5-6)

Let your character and moral disposition be free from love of money, including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions and be satisfied with your present circumstances and with what you have; for He, God Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. I will not, I will not, I will not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let you down or relax My hold on you! Assuredly not!

So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm I will not fear or dread or be terrified. What can man do to me?

POWER TO RETAIN BLESSINGS
The ladder of your dream: The first rung is Determination. The second rung is Dedication. The third rung is Discipline. The fourth rung is Attitude.

People who want to move mountains must start by carrying away small stones.
Be thankful for problems, for if they were less difficult, someone with less ability would have your job.

Therefore, possess your God-given possession, but learn to retain it (Isaiah 65:21-24). Our good Lord has given to us the power to retain our blessings.

The power to retain is the power to keep, hold, hold back, maintain, preserve, reserve, save all of our God-given blessings (Luke 10:1-9). Many people have been cheated and robbed of their blessings by the devil and his agents.

Reasons why one cannot retain his or her blessings:

Sin (Isaiah 59:1-2)
Lies and deception (Isaiah 59:3-4)
Doubt and unbelief
Pride and arrogance
Manipulation and ungodly behaviour (Isaiah 59:5)
Sin of commission, Disobedience
Besetting sin causing or leading to spiritual miscarriages

Spiritual miscarriage is the same as spiritual abortion because you could not hold on your blessing. You fail to hold on, keep and preserve your divinely ordained blessings of God for your life.

In the midst of holding onto your destiny, a mishap, breakdown or error occurred and then you let go of the grip of your blessing.

Satan, the eternal enemy of our lives uses the strategy of spiritual abortion and miscarriage to attack our God-given blessings, but saints of God, let us hold on to what God has held on for us in Christ Jesus our Lord (Philippians 3:12-13).

Jephthah declared: “So whatever the Lord our God takes possession of before us, we will possess” (Judges 11:24).

“WE SHALL POSSESS OUR POSSESSIONS IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!”

Everybody shout, “AMEN HALLELUJAH!”
