NARRATIVES THAT ARE WORTH CONSIDERATION

Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | May 16, 2025

Beloved Saint of God Most High,

Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred weekend ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,
rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ” (Colossians 2:6-8).

As you have therefore received Christ, even Jesus the Lord, so walk and regulate your lives and conduct yourselves in union with and conformity to Him.
Have the roots of your being firmly and deeply planted in Him, fixed and founded in Him.
Being continually built up in Him, becoming increasingly more confirmed and established in the faith, just as you were taught, and abounding and overflowing in it with thanksgiving.
See to it that no one carries you off as spoil or makes you captive by his so-called philosophy and intellectualism and vain deceit, idle fancies and plain nonsense, following human tradition and men’s ideas of the material rather than the spiritual world, just crude notions following the rudimentary and elemental teachings of the universe and disregarding the teachings of Christ the Messiah and the Anointed One.

NARRATIVES THAT WORTH CONSIDERATION

Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.
In the gym, the weight does not get easier to lift, you get stronger.
In life, events do not get easier to handle, you become better equipped to handle them. Keep growing.

Challenges may seem endless, but without facing them, progress will always remain impossible.
Horrible and terrible are synonyms, but horrific and terrific are antonyms.
When you are flying high, people will throw stones at you. Do not look down. Just fly higher so the stones will not reach you.
You teach what you know, but you impart who you are.

A man who walks with purpose does not need the crowd to cheer. He already knows where he is going.
Never discuss cheese with rats, talk bread with birds or make moves with snakes.

If no one sees you as an enemy, it means you are not important enough.
If no one sees you as a threat, it means you are not strong enough.
If no one talks behind your back, it means you are not outstanding enough.
If someone is taking advantage, it means you have value.

If someone isolates you, it means you are strong enough to stand-alone.
If someone imitates you, it means you are charismatic and influential.
If someone slanders you, it means you are too prominent to ignore.
If someone mocks you, it means you are already above him or her.

If someone doubts you, it means you are pushing boundaries he or she cannot imagine.
Remember all these things come from others not measuring up to you.
Criticism is in fact a form of admiration and when they try to silence you, it is a clear indication that your voice carries weight, and your presence is too powerful to be ignored.

If Jesus Christ is in your boat, no storm can sink it.

Everybody shout a loud, “THANK YOU, JESUS!

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
