“BE PERSISTENT IN PRAYER & DO NOT LOSE HEART!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Then Yeshua told his talmidim a parable, in order to impress on them that they must always keep praying and not lose heart.” (Luke 18:1)
Jesus told the disciples a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not to turn coward faint, lose heart and give up. Let us maintain a prayerful life in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Our business in prayer is not to prescribe but to subscribe to the wisdom and will of God. Our business in prayer is to refer all our cases and concerns to God, then leave them with Him to manage.
Do not face the day until you have faced God. Therefore, change matters of care and concern to substance of prayer.
We have a lot to learn from the New Testament Church in regard to prayer and intercession. The Early Church has a lot to teach and offer in regard to standing in the gap.
Parents and others interceded on behalf of their loved ones. Parents pleaded with Jesus to heal their sick children.
Jairus’ daughter was healed and brought back to life (Mark 5:22-43).
The noble man’s son was healed (John 4:47-53).
A group of mothers asked Jesus to bless their kids (Mark 10:13-16).
A centurion pleaded for his servant to be healed (Matthew 8:5-13).
Zebedee’s wife (James and John’s mother) interceded with Jesus on behalf of her children (Matthew 20:20-21).
- The New Testament church interceded on behalf of various individuals.
- The church in Jerusalem gathered together to pray for Peter’s release from prison (Acts 12:5-12).
- The church in Antioch prayed for the ministry success of Paul and Barnabas and they had success (Acts 13:3-12).
- Apostle James instructed the elders of the church to pray for the sick (James 5:13-14).
Again, James the Apostle instructed all believers to pray for each other (James 5:16 / Hebrew 13:18-19). - Therefore, let us give ourself to prayer and intercession for God’s glory in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
PRAYER IS WALKING IN THE SPIRIT TO DEFEND OUR CAUSE FOR GOD’S GLORY!
Somebody shout, “HALLELUJAH AMEN!”
Shalom and good morning.
