FPT: Narratives about Pressing Forward

Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Jun 28, 2024

Beloved Saint of God Most High,

Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:12-14).

Not that I have now attained this ideal or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of and grasp that for which Christ Jesus the Messiah has laid hold of me and made me His own. I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own yet; but one thing I do and that is my one aspiration: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the supreme and heavenly prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

Keep pressing on. Never give up. Keep hope alive.
Life has a lot in store for you if you can stand the test of time.

Alcohol leaves you BREATHLESS.
Illegal drug use leaves you SENSELESS.
Evil doing leaves you HEARTLESS.
Death leaves you LIFELESS.
But JESUS CHRIST won’t leave you REGARDLESS.

When ministry becomes performance,
Then the sanctuary becomes a theater,
The congregation becomes an audience of spectators,
Worship becomes entertainment and man’s applause and approval become the measure of success!

Three men, three crosses, one hill.
One man cursed, one man prayed, one man promised.
One died condemned, one died forgiven, one died innocent.
One died in sin, one died to sin, one died for sin.
One was held by death, one was released by death, one conquered death.
One lost life, one gained life, one was life.
Thank You, Jesus for Your sacrifice on my behalf and Praise God for the provision of eternal life!

Somebody shout a loud, “THANK YOU JESUS!

Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
