SPIRITUAL GROWTH BY GRACE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

It is not that I have already obtained it or already reached the goal — no, I keep pursuing it in the hope of taking hold of that for which the Messiah Yeshua took hold of me. Brothers, I, for my part, do not think of myself as having yet gotten hold of it; but one thing……….” (Philippians 3:12-13).

I admit that I haven’t yet acquired the absolute fullness that I’m pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own.

I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH BY GRACE
Spiritual growth is possible and attainable by the grace of God if there is a desire, determination, dedication and diligence.
God has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness.

Constant desire to grow into His fullness (Ephesians 4:13-15)
Continue in sound doctrine, fellowship and prayer (Acts 2:41-42 / Hebrews 10:25)
Constantly abide in the true vine (John 15:4-8)

Continually confess Christ and be committed to evangelism and witnessing (Acts 9:20, 22 / 6:4)
Continue in God’s service (1 Corinthians 15:58)
Constantly undertake self-examination (2 Corinthians 13:5)

Consecrate and walk in the spirit and in obedience to God and His word (Galatians 5:16-18)

Spiritual growth does not come by accident. If we are lazy and unserious, our desire for spiritual growth cannot be achieved. We should therefore stir up ourselves and use the available means of growth.

METTLE FOR SPIRITUAL AND CHURCH GROWTH (Acts 6:4 / Ephesians 4:13-15)

There should be willingness and constant desire for spiritual and church growth.
The end of spiritual growth is the beginning of spiritual growth.

The spiritual understanding of apostle Paul in regard to fruits of consecration and prayers brought about the spiritual and numerical growth of the church of Ephesus.

Therefore, our total consecration and commitment to prayer and the preaching of the word of God will help a long way to our total growth.

If we will discover the indispensability of prayer and preaching of the word, then our vision and desire for the spiritual growth of members as well as the growth of the church will be realized.

We need to make a serious commitment and consecration now. We must be willing to pay the price for spiritual growth and no price is too high beloved saints of God.

Everybody shout, “THANK YOU, JESUS!

Shalom and good morning.
