“ABIDE IN THE LORD & HIS COMMANDMENTS”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“The way we can be sure we know him is if we are obeying his commands. Anyone who says, ‘I know him,’ but isn’t obeying his commands is a liar — the truth is not in him…….” (1 John 2:3-6)

Here is how we can be sure that we’ve truly come to know God: if we keep His commands. If someone claims, “I have come to know God by experience,” yet doesn’t keep God’s commands, he is a phony and the truth finds no place in him.

But the love of God will be perfected within the one who obeys God’s Word. We can be sure that we’ve truly come to live in intimacy with God, not just by saying, “I am intimate with God,” but by walking in the footsteps of Jesus!

In our dispensation, there are many people who claim to be spiritual but still under the bondage of Satan.

Some people claim to be believers but still under the power of darkness.
Some people are still under the bondage of talkativeness. Remember a great talker is a great liar (Matthew 12:36-37).

Some people are under the bondage of cigarette smoking (1 Corinthian 6:12).
Alcoholism (Proverbs 20:1)
Computer games
Lying (John 8:44)
Deception
Love of the world (1 John 2:15)
Lust of the eyes and pride of life (1 John 2:16-17)
Friendship to the world (James 4:4)
Shopping and eating excessively (1 Corinthians 10:23)

Saints of God, we must not be under the bondage of the works of the flesh (Galatians 5:16-17).
What are the works of the flesh? (Galatians 5:19-21)

Apostle Paul – God delivered Paul the apostle from inner struggles of spiritual conflicts (Romans 7:15-23, deliverance came in verses 24-25).

Saints of God, great deliverance can only be said to have taken place when we are genuinely saved from sin and translated into God’s light (Colossians 1:13-14).

Great deliverance is when our bodies, souls and spirits are set free from all forms of demonic manipulations (Psalm 18:50).

You are delivered because the Lord God is your portion in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
