SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF HOLY MEN OF GOD

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

For I am not ashamed of the Good News, since it is God’s powerful means of bringing salvation to everyone who keeps on trusting, to the Jew especially, but equally to the Gentile. For in it is revealed how God makes people righteous in his sight……..” (Romans 1:16-17).

I refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first and then people everywhere!

This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”

Follow after righteousness in all things (1 Timothy 6:11). Do all things to please God.
Be clothed with righteousness (Psalms 132:9).

Be preachers of righteousness (Philippians 1:9-11). Keep the saints in the right way of righteousness (Proverbs 11:5).

Scriptural Examples Of Righteous Holy Men Of God

  • Jesus our Lord lived a transparent holy life and attracted multitudes to the kingdom (John 8:28-30).

  • Samuel the prophet lived a holy life during his time. His life pleased God and was a blessing to many people (1 Samuel 12:3-5).

  • John the Baptist was a burning light. He exalted Jesus and won many souls into the kingdom (John 5:35 / Luke 7:26, 28). He had a good testimony from the Lord.

  • Barnabas was a good and righteous man. He exalted Christ by his life and service and was a blessing to many lives (Acts 11:24-26). He was son of encouragement.

  • Paul the apostle lived a shining, holy and righteous life. His life exalted Christ and brought multitudes to the kingdom. He planted many churches to conserve the fruits (Acts 26:19-20 / 2 Corinthians 11:28).

God’s counsel for us as His servants and workers in His vineyard is to follow after righteousness.

Somebody shout, “AMEN & AMEN!

Shalom and good morning.
