TIME AND HAPPINESS (CONT’D)

THE TRAITS OF LIFE

Yes, only one life, but with various possibilities for fruitfulness or worthlessness.
We must think soberly if there are any chances to come back after death? The answer is obviously and absolutely no.
The truth is there is only one life. What a terrifying realisation and what a fearful finality!

Beloved, when we come to the end of the road, when we get to the shores of eternity and when the last bell rings, what account will you give?
When the pleasures of life cease to be and the beautiful buildings and equipage are no more, what account will you give?

No doubt beloved, you will tell of church membership, of baptism and confirmation, of monthly contributions and tithes, of trips to Holy Land and other acts of self-righteousness.
Probably, you will emphasise on how much you gave to men and women of God for their ministries and personal expenses, how much you gave for missions and first fruits and freewill offerings, etc.

Yet your answers would be as void of Christ Jesus as your life on earth had been, then your hope will be shattered.
But there is still hope today. It all depends on the decision you take now, wise, or unwise.
There is only one life and only one truth that matter for time and eternity (John 3:16 / 14:6).
Remember, procrastination is the thief of time.

STORY OF A WISE FAMILY

Jason and Janice have been busy all day, having left for their respective offices since 7.00am.
As a fervent Christian couple, they are also involved actively in the church programmes weekly.
They are a trusting couple, proficient, calculated, and unruffled even under stress.
The couple work in different offices but their respective bosses and colleagues acknowledge their capabilities.

This couple, Jason and Janice’s amicable and enviable lifestyle is not without a foundation.
They are blessed with a privileged but priceless affinity with the Almighty God.
They came into this eternal royal lineage through repentance and faith in Christ Jesus.
This experience happened 17 years ago, although their pathway through life has been thorny but they remain undaunted in courage, labour, and faith.
Their vaunted honesty equally procured them favour, thus brought them up the ladder of success.
No doubt, Jason and Janice like any other couple live in a world of varied principles and habits, either for or against the programme of God for humanity.

The Holy Bible reveals that God is the greatest investor who invested His only begotten Son for us all (John 3:16).
Having received such a challenging example from God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, every Christian couple should count it a great privilege to invest their time, talent, and treasure for the stability of their home and the furtherance of the gospel.
