WOW- 5 MARCH 2025: LOVE THE GREATEST WEAPON
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Mar 05, 2025

Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!
LOVE, THE GREATEST WEAPON
Love God completely, love others compassionately and love yourself correctly.
Love is the basic need of human nature, for without it, life is disrupted emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically.
Hatred stirs up quarrels but love overlooks insults. Money can build a house but it takes love to make it a home.
Deuteronomy 6:4-6 / 1 Corinthians 12:31 / 13:1-8, 13 / Romans 12:20-21 / 13:8-10 / Galatians 6:9-10 / 1 John 3:1-3, 10-18 / 4:7-12, 17-20
- Love is the bedrock of the Christian faith for all believers in all ages of every race.
- God’s love is not fleshly.
- God’s love is not just liking a person or liking somebody.
- God’s love is not carnal or physical affection.
- God’s love is neither sensual nor sentimental but God’s love is by faith.
- God’s love is the brotherly love that is impartial, unselfish, sincere and fervent in spirit.
- God’s love has many possibilities. It unlocks the heart of a sinner and melts the hardened criminal.
- God’s love binds up the broken hearted.
- God’s love sets the captive free.
- God’s love gladdens the sorrowful in the spirit.
- God’s love brings hope to the hopeless and help to the helpless.
- God’s love brings courage to the discouraged and comfort to the burdened.(Lk 4:18-19)
- A Christian full of Christ-like love can win the worst battles of life.
THE PRE-EMINENCE OF LOVE
(Deuteronomy 6:4-6 / Matthew 22:36-40 / Mark 12:30-31 / John 13:34-35 / 1 Corinthians 13:1-5 / Ephesians 3:17-19 / 5:2 / Colossians 3:14 / 1 John 4:7-10, 16)
We are commanded to love God with all our heart, mind and soul. This is the first and greatest commandment.
“He who loves knows God, for God is love.” In Him is no image of wickedness nor of evil.
In God’s love, He made the plan of redemption through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save us from our sins (John 3:16 / Jer 31:3).
We fulfil the law of Christ as we love and bear the burden of others (Gal 6:2). If we do not have love, nothing else will be acceptable in God’s sight.
On the contrary, if we possess God’s kind of love, there will be no sacrifice too high to pay for the sake of Christ and humanity. All things will fail but love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).
The loveless person produces nothing. A loveless person is of no value and receives nothing of value from the Lord (1 Corinthians 13:1-3).
To be continued.
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
