Calvary greetings to you in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Saviour, Amen!

WHO IS A CHRISTIAN?

A Christian is not one who has gone all the way with Christ, none of us has.
A Christian is one who has found the right road.
Too many clergymen have become keepers of an aquarium instead of fishers of men, and often they are just swiping each other’s fish.
The glory of Christianity is to conquer by forgiveness.

The scripture gives four names to Christians:

Saints for their holiness.
Believers for their faith.
Brethren for their love.
Disciples for their knowledge.

Acts 11:26

And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.

The disciples who were called Christians at Antioch knew and believed that God’s Word as:

Supernatural in origin
External in duration
Inexpressible in valour
Infinite in scope
Regenerating in power
Infallible in authority
Universal in application
Inspired in totality

Beloved saints of the Living God, a good and genuine Christian must:

Read through the Word of God
Write down God’s Word on the table of his or her heart
Pray in God’s Word
Work God’s Word out
Pass on God’s Word

It is imperative for all of us to know and believe that God’s Word changes us to a better people.

God’s Word transforms our lives.
God’s Word changes our character.
God’s Word gives us inheritance in the spirit until we are conformed to His true image.

A Christian is someone whose life spells and describes the word ‘CHRISTIAN‘.
