BE MOTIVATED IN THE LORD GOD REGARDLESS OF THE PREVAILING SITUATION

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

For even if the fig tree doesn’t blossom, and no fruit is on the vines, even if the olive tree fails to produce, and the fields yield no food at all, even if the sheep vanish from the sheep pen, and there are no cows in the stalls; still, I will rejoice in Adonai…….” (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the product of the olive fails and the fields yield no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will exult in the victorious God of my salvation!

The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk not to stand still in terror, but to walk and make spiritual progress upon my high places of trouble, suffering, or responsibility!

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY GODLY MOTIVATION?
We mean those factors that induce, cause, instigate or influence us to continue our godly walk and godly deeds or righteous acts in Christ Jesus.

WHAT ARE THESE FACTORS?

A GODLY ROLE MODEL (1 Corinthians 11:1, 4:16 / Hebrews 6:12 / Ephesians 5:1-2)

Christ Jesus is our example to follow in all aspects. Holiness, prayer life, compassion, mercy, love, etc.
Apostle Paul is our example in his humility (1 Timothy 1:12-16) and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and his calling.

We must understand the values of God and His calling upon our life.
We must be consistent to what we believe without fear and doubt.

We must exercise our Christ-given freedom without intimidation.
We must learn to do the right thing for the right person at the right time for the glory of God.

BUILD POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS (Isaiah 62:10, 57:14)

People do not want to know how much we know but they want to know how much we care.
Always show appreciation and encouragement towards people and work well done.

Avoid playing favouritism. (2 Chronicles 19:7 / Acts 10:34-35)
Avoid hurling unjust criticisms.
Eliminate divide and rule policy.
Avoid politicking issues, trying to bring out a mountain out of a mole hill.

BE A GOAL SETTER  (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

A goal is a dream with a direction.
A goal has a deadline, which means it has a time limit with a plan of action.
Goals should be slightly out of reach but not out of sight.

Remember that a goal’s success is not ultimately measured by how high we have gone up in life or in our aspirations, but how many times we bounce back when we fall down. (Proverbs 24:16-18 / Micah 7:8)

Remember, the important ingredient in the formula of success is to know how to get along with people.

BE AN EXEMPLARY BELIEVER!

Somebody shout, “SO HELP ME GOD!

Shalom and good morning!
