MELTED AND PUT INTO CIRCULATION (CONT’D)

HOW TO MELT THE SAINTS?
We are going to look into 7 ways of melting the saints in order to put them into circulation for the glory of God.

We Must Teach Them To Die To Self (Galatians 2:20 / Philippians 4:4-9)

  • Rejoice in the Lord always. (Philippians 4:4)
  • Maintain gentleness (v5).
  • Be anxious for nothing (v6).
  • Keep the peace of God (v7).
  • Meditate on the values of God (v8).

We Must Engage The Saints To Serve The Lord (John 4:35-38)

  • Cast vision on them and allow them to use their initiative to run the vision. Even if they make mistakes, we can correct them with love.
  • Responsibility will always increase commitment.

We Must Involve Them In The Fire Of Prayer (Luke 18:1 / 1 Thessalonians 5:17 / Psalms 109:4-5 / Luke 11:1-4)

  • The fire of prayer must not be quenched at any cost.
  • The fire of prayer has no alternative. Our prayer life must not be shallow otherwise, we will be ineffective and useless.

We Must Motivate The Saints To Go Extra Miles (2 John 1:8 / 1 Peter 4:10-11 / 2 Corinthians 5:20)

  • The more we motivate them, the more committed and embracing they will be in serving the Lord selflessly with total surrender and yieldedness. Serve the Lord as faithful steward.

Press On To Fulfill the Ministry (1 Peter 5:2-6 / Hebrews 5:12-14 / Colossians 4:17 / Philippians 3:13-14)

  • To fulfill our ministry, we must respond positively to ministry demands.
  • We must not lord over the sheep.
  • We must not seek for dishonest gain.
  • We must develop skills for God’s Word.
  • We must endure the task of the ministry.
  • We must take heed to fulfill the ministry we have received.
  • We must press on and lay hold on what Christ has laid hold for us.
  • We must forget the past, lay hold of the present and pursue the future with godly vigour.

We Must Monitor Results (Colossians 2:8 / 2:18 / 1:10-12)

  • We must not just train, encourage but we must assess progress report in order to ascertain areas of strength and weakness.

We Must Forget All Past And Failures (Isaiah 43:18-19 / 42:9)

  • We must not forget how the Lord has led us thus far. God has tolerated our bad and ill manners.
  • He has put up with all our grumblings. His grace has been sufficient to us in times of troubles.
  • His blood has cleansed us from all wrongs. His rod and staff have comforted us.

When we had to pass through the shadow of death, He was with us.
When we stand in the cold floods of Jordan, we need not fear because death cannot separate us from Him.
Therefore, may Almighty God through Jesus melt us and put us into circulation in Jesus’ name Amen!

Remain blessed and rapturable,

Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,

Dr. Daniel O. C.
