“PURSUE GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS IN ALL YOUR WAYS!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“For I tell you that unless your righteousness is far greater than that of the Torah-teachers and P’rushim, you will certainly not enter the Kingdom of Heaven!” (Matthew 5:20)

For I tell you, said Adonai Yeshua, unless your righteousness, your uprightness, and your right standing with God is more than that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Beloved, what do you do more than others? Here is a poser of all times.
Our religion or piousness is vain, if we do not meet the Biblical standard.

Do you know that the whole gamut of love is couched in the word – righteousness?
You cannot gossip, backbite, slander, curse or speak evil of the person you love.

Can you forgive anyone whom you know is hell-bent on destroying you? Yet, Jesus’ command is to forgive. If not, your heavenly Father will not forgive you of your own sins (Matthew 6:14-15).

As we relate with one another, compassion should be a major ingredient in these relationships.

Mercy is compassion in action. No wonder Jesus told the disciples, “Have compassion on them.” “And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh” (Jude 1:22-23).

Mercy flows into forgiveness as it stems from love. It is greater than forgiveness, less than love, but different from grace and it is one with truth.

Let us from now onwards show a godly and caring attitude towards one another for God’s glory in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
