“BE TRANSFORMED TO REFLECT OUR GOOD SHEPHERD”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“He is the visible image of the invisible God. He is supreme over all creation, because in connection with him were created all things — in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, lordships, rulers or authorities………..” (Colossians 1:15-18)
Adonai Yeshua is the divine portrait, the true likeness of the invisible God, and the firstborn heir of all creation. For in Him was created the universe of things, both in the heavenly realm and on the earth, all that is seen and all that is unseen.
Every seat of power, realm of government, principality, and authority—it all exists through Him and for his purpose! He existed before anything was made, and now everything finds completion in Him.
He is the Head of His body, which is the church. And since He is the beginning and the firstborn heir in resurrection, He is the most exalted One, holding first place in everything.
BY TRANSFORMATION WE REFLECT OUR GOOD SHEPHERD
With such a starting point as the cross and such a goal as the Lord’s coming, how can a Christian love the things of the world, the flesh, and the devil?
The more we are transformed by the power of Christ, the less we will be conformed to this world. Therefore, you cannot wait upon the Lord and run with the devil at the same time.
Our good shepherd:
Cares for us at all times.
He protects us from the intruders.
He refreshes us with the dew of heaven.
He secures us from every distressing power.
He makes provision for us in the time of adversity and lacking.
He opens the floodgates of heaven to supply us with His mercy and goodness.
We are to reflect the Shepherd. As we embrace Jesus the good Shepherd, let us reflect Him by having:
Unconditional love
Kindness in words and actions
Goodness and pure motives
Faithfulness in big and small things
Showing gentleness to all
Self-control in the things of life
Possessing peace that surpasses all understanding
Joy, that does not depend on the situation or circumstances
Maintaining long suffering under pressure
Everybody shout, “THANK YOU, JESUS!”
Shalom and good morning.
