“FORSAKE EVIL BUT PURSUE GOD’S WAY TO OBTAIN MERCY!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Then, if my people, who bear my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14-15)
If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land. Now, my eyes will be open, and My ears attentive to prayer offered in this place.
Therefore, justice is far from us, and justice is nowhere to be found around us. We look for light, but there is darkness. Brightness, but we walk in darkness.
We are groping for the wall like the blind because we cannot see spiritually. We are stumbling at noonday, as at twilight, we are as dead men in desolate places.
We all growl like bears and moan sadly like doves. We are looking for justice, but there is none. We look for salvation, but it is far from us.
Our transgressions are multiplied before the Lord, and our sins testify against us, and we know them. We have departed from our God and followed falsehood.
Truth has fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Therefore, it displeased the Lord that there is no ‘INTERCESSOR.’
WHAT ARE WE TO DO NOW? (Acts 2:37-38a)
📍We must humble ourselves and repent from all our arrogance and pride.
📍We must repent from self-management, self-sufficiency, and self-righteousness.
Acts 3:19-21 Repentance, refreshing and restoration will then come.
📍We must obey God rather than man. (Acts 4:19 / 5:29)
LET US CALL UPON THE LORD NOW. (Psalms 50:15-17 / Job 22:27-28 / Jeremiah 33:3 / Isaiah 55:6-7)
📍Let us forsake our wrong intentions, goals, ungodly motives, and unnecessary ecclesiastical ambitions.
📍Let us forsake our evil schemes and wicked methods of doing things and pursue God’s way and means in order to obtain divine mercy of God in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Everybody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Shalom and good morning.
