GREAT DELIVERANCE FOR GOD’S PEOPLE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

In our hearts we felt we were under sentence of death. However, this was to get us to rely not on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead! He rescued us from such deadly peril, and he will rescue us again………” (2 Corinthians 1:9-10).

Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the very sentence of death, but that was to keep us from trusting in and depending on ourselves instead of on God Who raises the dead.

For it is He, Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope, our joyful and confident expectation that He will again deliver us from danger and destruction and draw us to Himself.

GREAT DELIVERANCE FOR GOD’S PEOPLE
A tree is known by its fruits but a man by his deeds. Deeds are fruits but words are leaves. Our deeds follows us but what we have been makes us who we are.
Therefore, people may doubt what you say but they will always believe what you do.

WHAT IS DELIVERANCE?
Deliverance is the same as release, emancipation, redemption, escape, liberation, ransom, salvation, etc.
Deliverance is the act of setting people or someone free from every form of bondage.

The bondage could be in the form of yokes, covenant, curses, chains and shackles of spiritual dimensions, addictions and captivity.

Great deliverance is a function of freedom from sin. Freedom from self, selfishness and self-centeredness. Freedom from Satan and his hosts.

Great deliverance also includes having authority and dominion over all powers that tends to intimidate or confront us (Luke 10:19). Great deliverance also implies standing our ground in the battle line against all anti-deliverance forces and powers.

GOD’S GREAT DELIVERANCE IN THE PAST
God used David the youth to deliver Israelites from the Philistines (1 Samuel 17).
God used Othniel to deliver Israel from the king of Mesopotamia (Judges 3).

God used Deborah to deliver Israel from Sisera (Judges 4).
God used Gideon (Jerubaal) to deliver Israel from the Midianites (Judges 6).

God used Jephthah to deliver Israel from the people of Ammon (Judges 11).

God used Samson to deliver Israel from Philistines (Judges 15).

God used Esther to deliver Israel from the plot of Haman (Esther 4-6).
God used Jehoshaphat to deliver Israel from the great multitude (2 Chronicles 20).

God used Hezekiah to deliver Israel from the Assyrians (Isaiah 37).

God used His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to deliver us from all power of sin (Matthew 1:21-23). Glory to His holy name!

Everybody shout, “HALLELUJAH AMEN!

Shalom and good morning.
