HOW TO FORTIFY YOURSELF AGAINST THE WILES OF THE EVIL ONE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Leave no room or foothold for the devil and give no opportunity to him” (Ephesians 4:27).

Don’t give the slanderous accuser, the Devil, an opportunity to manipulate you!

CASE STUDY 1 – JOB (Job 1:13-19)
There were six agents that the devil used to attack Job, namely:
The Sabeans (verse 15)
Fire from heaven (verse 16)
The Chaldeans (verse 17)
The elements (hurricane, wind & storm) (verse 19)
Diseases (Job 2:7)
An ungodly wife (Job 2:9)

The devil reinforced augmentation and increased the rapidity of his agents in order to overwhelm Job all at once, if possible. But Job submitted to God and resisted the devil. Hallelujah!

WHAT WAS JOB’S RESPONSE?
He arose (Job 1:20).
He rent his robe as a sign of sorrow.
He shaved his hair as a sign of mourning (Leviticus 21:5 / Jeremiah 7:29 / Micah 1:16).
He fell down on the ground in humility.

He worshipped Jehovah God, who gave him all his wealth.
He consecrated himself to depart this planet naked as he came in it (verse 21).
He acknowledged that God gives and God takes away too.
He blessed the name of God.
He refused to sin (verse 22).
He did not charge God foolishly.

CASE STUDY 2 – NEHEMIAH (Nehemiah 4:1-4, 7-8 / 6:1-5)
7 fold opposition towards Nehemiah’s work:
Sanballat’s anger and indignation (verse 1).
Sanballat, Tobiah and Ammonite’s ridicule (verse 3).
Sanballat, Tobiah, Ammonites and Ashdodites’ conspiracy and war (verse 7-8).

Continuous threat and intimidation by the enemy (verse 10-23).
The enemy re-grouped with the strategy of craftiness (Nehemiah 6:1-4).
The enemy used the strategy of accusation (Nehemiah 6:5-9).
The enemy used the strategy of treachery (Nehemiah 6:10-14).

WHAT WAS NEHEMIAH’S RESPONSE?
He responded with wisdom and prayer (Nehemiah 4:4-6).

As children of God, we are the target of devil’s bombardment of attack but we must stand our ground of victory to confront every satanic assault.
Satan loves to wear you out but he will never succeed in Jesus’ name!

The devil is a good strategist who does not easily give up (Ephesians 6:12).
In this end times, the devil will use rapid and constant attacks, trials, tribulations, persecutions, afflictions, infirmities and weariness to distraught the saints.

He will try his attempts from time to time and from season to season (Luke 4:13).
Satan may depart from an individual for a season only to re-group and reinforce with deadly onslaughts.

Saints of God, now is the time for us to fortify ourselves with fire from heaven. This is not the time for relaxing or taking it easy with the powers of darkness.
Praise God for His word in Isaiah 54:15 and Jeremiah 1:19.

Everybody shout, “GLORY TO GOD!

Shalom and good morning.
