“DO NOT GROW WEARY IN DOING WHAT IS GOOD & RIGHT”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“For even when we were with you, we gave you this command: if someone won’t work, he shouldn’t eat! We hear that some of you are leading a life of idleness — not busy working, just busybodies….” (2 Thessalonians 3:10-13)

For when we were with you, we instructed you with these words: “Anyone who does not want to work for a living should go hungry.” Now, we hear rumours that some of you are being lazy and neglecting to work—that these people are not busy but busybodies!

So, with the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ, we order them to go back to work in an orderly fashion and exhort them to earn their own living. Brothers and sisters, don’t ever grow weary in doing what is right.

YOUR WORK AND RESPONSIBILITY

A Christian believer should not be idle.
Do not be a busybody, who carries the latest news from house to the other.

We are not called to be DHL courier service or Federal Express delivery or CNN news carriers but we are called to be intercessors for God’s glory.

We must be engaged in the profitable business of God.

Take proper care of your spouse, children, home and ministry where you serve and the church work you are involved with.

Plan your activities well. Be a good time manager. Above all, let the true love of God be shown in your life as you relate with others.

Remember, to work for a living isn’t a punishment but a blessing in order to fulfill our divine responsibility for God’s glory!

Everybody shout, “AMEN & AMEN!

Shalom and good morning.
