“BELOVED, BE GOOD STEWARDS OF THE MANIFOLD GRACE OF GOD”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Welcome one another into your homes without grumbling. As each one has received some spiritual gift, he should use it to serve others, like good managers of God’s many-sided grace.” (1 Peter 4:9-10)

Practice hospitality to one another, especially to those of the household of faith. Be hospitable, be a lover of strangers with brotherly affection for the unknown guests, the foreigners, the poor, and all others who come your way who are of Christ’s body. In each instance, do it ungrudgingly cordially and graciously, without complaining but as representing Him.

As each of you has received a gift, a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment, employ it for one another as befits good trustees of God’s many-sided grace and being faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favour.

INTER-PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Be humble, hospitable, humorous but not a jester.
When you put your life under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit. He will mould your character in such a way that your life will produce the fruit of the Spirit as enumerated in Galatians 5:22-23.

The fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is divine love in all its varied expressions: joy that overflows, peace that subdues, patience that endures, kindness in action, a life full of virtue, faith that prevails, gentleness of heart, and strength of spirit. Never set the law above these qualities, for they are meant to be limitless.

In this way you will become a reference point for people around you. Then you will be a tool in the hand of God to bring souls into the kingdom.

Be a true witness, example and witness among your co-workers, friends, pastors, servants of God and neighbours in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
