“THINGS TO PUT ON TO UPKEEP YOUR CONSECRATION TO GOD!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“And clothe yourselves with the new nature created to be godly, which expresses itself in the righteousness and holiness that flow from the truth.” (Ephesians 4:24)

Put on the new nature, the regenerated self, created in God’s image, God-like in true righteousness and holiness.

Therefore, rejecting all falsity and being done now with it, let everyone express the truth with his neighbour, for we are all parts of one body and members one of another.

THINGS TO PUT ON TO UPKEEP YOUR CONSECRATION TO GOD

The armour of light (Romans 13:12)
Christ Jesus (Romans 13:14)
The new man (Ephesians 4:24 / Colossians 3:10)

Whole armour of God (Ephesians 6:11, 13)
Tender mercy (Colossians 3:12)

Kindness (Colossians 3:12)
Good will, charity, compassion and generosity.

Humility (Colossians 3:12)
Modesty, submissiveness and unpretentiousness.

Meekness (Colossians 3:12)
Compliance, docility, mildness and gentleness.

Long suffering (Colossians 3:13) Uncomplaining attitude, forbearing, forgiving, tolerant and patience.

Divine love (Colossians 3:14)
Love that bears all things, forgives, not easily provoked and not irritable.

Breastplate of faith and love

The hope of salvation
