“DEVOTE YOURSELF STEADFASTLY TO PRAYER & THE WORD OF GOD!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“But we ourselves will give our full attention to praying and serving the Word.” (Acts 6:4)
We will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Let us keep praying until we become prayer itself. Be happy in your faith, rejoice, and be glad-hearted continually always. Be unceasing in prayer, praying perseveringly.
PRAYER RULES
- Prayer is a spiritual business. Therefore, must be governed by spiritual laws.
- Prayer must be in faith. (Hebrews 11:6 / Matthew 21:21-22)
- Pray and believe. (Matthew 20:22 / Mark 11:23-24)
- Pray persistently and consistently. (Luke 18:1-8 / Colossians 4:2-4)
- Pray without vain repetition. (Matthew 6:7-8)
- Pray in line with God’s word and will.
- You stand best you who kneel best.
- It is strange that while praying, we seldom ask for a change of character but always a change of circumstance.
- None can pray well, but who lives well.
- Therefore, while praying, do not give God instructions but report for duty.
- Prayer is walking in the spirit.
- Prayer is a divine link between a believer and God Almighty.
- Prayer is a divine connection between earth and heavenly realms.
- It is a plea of a child to his or her Heavenly Father.
- God’s actions in the earthly realm require and demand human participation and involvement.
- To preserve humanity in the flood, God needed Noah, the righteous man.
- To multiply humans on earth, God needed Adam and Eve.
- To create a nation, God needed Abraham.
- To lead Israelites out of Egypt, God needed Moses.
- To invade and defeat Jericho, God needed Joshua.
- To preserve the Hebrews in the kingdom of Shushan, God needed Esther.
- To bring back Israel from captivity, God needed Daniel the prophet.
- To secure our salvation, God needed to become man.
- Prayer is not optional but a necessity.
Somebody shout, “GLORY TO GOD!”
Shalom and good morning.
