“PURPOSE OF GOD’S WORD”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Yes indeed! I tell you that until heaven and earth pass away, not so much as a yud or a stroke will pass from the Torah — not until everything that must happen has happened. So whoever disobeys the least of these mitzvot and teaches others to do so will be called the least……..” (Matthew 5:18-19).
Indeed, I assure you, as long as heaven and earth endure, not even the smallest detail of the Law will be done away with until its purpose is complete.
So whoever violates even the least important of the commandments, and teaches others to do so, will be called least in heaven’s kingdom. But whoever obeys them and teaches their truths to others will be called great in heaven’s kingdom.
PURPOSE OF GOD’S WORD
The prime purpose of the word of God is to give mankind a revelation of God. The Holy Bible is the only source of knowledge of the Almighty God. The Bible is the contact point for the finite man with the infinite God.
There is wisdom for all of us to read and meditate the scriptures. We ought to study the word of God in depth and apply its principles to our lives in order to be acquainted with God.
Remember no education or academic excellence is complete without the knowledge of the Bible, which actually is the absolute mind and will of God.
Therefore, to change our world today, we must:
- Believe the word of God
- Carry it everywhere
- Defend it, if need be
- Enjoy reading the word of God
- Glean on the word daily
- Hold on to the principles of the word
- Keep it in adequate protection
- Love the word with all our hearts
- Memorise the word of God
- Teach the word to the dying world
We must preach the word to the world
We must read and study the word daily
We must understand the principles of the word
We must value and examine the word
We must totally yield to the word
We must zealously hide the word in our heart
God’s word is the offensive weapon in the hands of believers against the devil.
Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Shalom and good morning.
