“STAY ON TO ADONAI YAHWEH’S DIVINE PLAN AND PURPOSE FOR YOUR LIFE WITHOUT WAVERING”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“You keep me alive when surrounded by danger; You put out Your hand when my enemies rage; with Your right hand, You save me. Adonai will fulfill His purpose for me. Your grace, Adonai, continues forever. Don’t abandon the work of Your hands!” (Psalms 138:7-8)
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You, Adonai Yahweh, will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.
The Lord, Adonai Hashem will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever, forsake not the works of Your own hands.
“But the Lord sent out a great wind upon the sea, and there was a violent tempest on the sea so that the ship was about to be broken. Then the mariners were afraid, and each man cried to his god; and they cast the goods that were in the ship into the sea to lighten it for them. But Jonah had gone down into the inner part of the ship and had lain down and was fast asleep. So the captain came and said to him, ‘What do you mean, you sleeper?’ Arise, call upon your God! Perhaps your God will give a thought to us so that we shall not perish” (Jonah 1:4-6).
There is no record or hard evidence to show that the sailors were godly men or that they had a personal relationship with the Almighty God.
There are people who remember God only when things are difficult, when situations are critical.
There are people who remember to pray only when they are in trouble. They make God a lawyer to be consulted only when there is problem or case to attend to.
But a true believer should be a regular seeker of the face of God, in times of tranquility as in times of troubles.
Those who are out of tune with God in times of peace will find it difficult to be in tune with Him in stormy times.
Those who have no relationship with the Lord, who cannot talk to Him in good times, will find it difficult to relate with Him or talk to Him in bad times.
DRAW NIGH TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NIGH TO YOU.
Shalom and good morning.
