“KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE LORD ALWAYS”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“For since he himself suffered death when he was put to the test, he is able to help those who are being tested now” (Hebrews 2:18).
For because He Himself, Adonai Yeshua in His humanity has suffered in being tempted, tested and tried, He is able immediately, to run to the cry of, assist and relieve those who are being tempted and tested and tried, who therefore are being exposed to suffering.
When you decide to have a closer walk with Lord, many temptations and trying times will surely come your way and you will be tempted often to fall away.
Satan will always bring some temptation to keep you away from being totally committed and dedicated to the Lord.
But keep your eyes on the Lord Jesus, and run to Him for grace to resist the evil one.
Do not be afraid of the temptations that the enemy brings for God always will find you a way of escape, if you are willing to listen to His voice.
1 Corinthians 10:13 says, “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” The trying of your faith can only make you stronger.
Eve, Solomon, Achan and others who fell into temptation and gave in suffered for it, but others and Jesus who resisted grew stronger and their lives are a testimony.
When you are tempted don’t ever say, “God is tempting me,” for God is incapable of being tempted by evil and He is never the source of temptation.
Every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire, lust and passions. Then the evil desire, when it has conceived, gives birth to sin, and sin, when it is fully matured, brings forth death.
Shalom and good morning.
