“ELEMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED DURING LIFE’S STORMS”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him; then he will level your paths. Don’t be conceited about your own wisdom; but fear Adonai, and turn from evil” (Proverbs 3:5-7).
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; reverently fear and worship the Lord and turn entirely away from evil.
Elements To Be Considered During Life’s Storms
Acknowledge that God is with you.
As we go through life’s stormy experiences, it is vital to acknowledge God’s presence (Isaiah 43:2 / Daniel 3:23-25).
Avoid overestimating your problem. The common mistake people always make during life-storm encounter is the overestimating of their problem.
In the gospel of Mark 4:38, the disciples made the same mistake by overestimating the size and magnitude of the problem.
They said, “we are perishing.”
We do not need to look at the size of the problems but consider the greatness of our God, His Sovereignty, His ultimate power, His supernatural ability and His immense love for us.
BIBLICAL EXAMPLES:
The servant of Elisha the prophet looked at the size of the problem, but Elisha chose to see God with the eyes of faith (2 Kings 6:15-17).
David the shepherd youth did not look at the physical size of Satan in the form of Goliath, but chose to trust in God for victory (1 Samuel 17:40-47).
Every challenge of life is a school of learning, therefore fret not at any situation that confronts you for the Lord God watches over you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Shalom and good morning.
