“SEE GOD BRING TRIUMPH IN YOUR SITUATION AS YOU SURRENDER IT TO HIM”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; let those who hate Him flee from His presence. Drive them away as smoke is driven away; like wax melting in the presence of a fire, let the wicked perish in the presence of God…….” (Psalms 68:1-3).
God! Arise with awesome power, and every one of Your enemies will scatter in fear! Chase them away, all these God-haters. Blow them away as a puff of smoke. Melt them away like wax in the fire. One good look at you and the wicked vanish.
But let all the righteous be glad! Yes, let them all rejoice in your presence and be carried away with gladness. Let them laugh and be radiant with joy!
Esther’s Commitment (4:13-16)
She commanded that all the Jews in Shushan fast for 3 days for her. The result of the fasting and prayer was amazing (Esther 5:1-5). God answers prayers. The heart of the king was touched and softened by God Himself (Proverbs 21:1).
The king, queen, and Haman himself were present at the banquet. The wise queen then courageously approached the king and narrated the plan for the whole race of the Jews to be killed and destroyed by the antagonist Haman.
She pleaded for favour that the Jewish race survive and the king granted her request.
Haman became terrified before the king and the queen. He knew that he had reached his end.
The final verdict by the king was that Haman himself would be hanged without further delay in the same gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai (Esther 7:9-10).
Mordecai was promoted to be second-in-command to king Ahasuerus and Mordecai also had favour with his kinsmen.
Glory to God in the highest! The Jews saw the end of their enemy and the defeat of Satan before them.
The Jericho wall fell flat, and we found victory at last. No matter what we pass through in this world, tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, peril or sword, (Romans 8:35) we shall win at last through God.
Before we get the triumphant ending, however, we may have to pass through some difficult chapters of life. These difficulties sometimes may be beyond our understanding. It may even call for added fasting and praying.
As children of God, trusting in the Almighty God, we will live happily ever after. We will see God at work. We will triumph over those tragedies at last in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
The Holy Scriptures assures in Rev 21:4 that God is invisible, yet He is invincible. The invisible God may appear to be absent, yet He is the invincible God who is working out His best plans for us.
God is able to reverse fates as He did in the case of Haman and Mordecai.
Be still and know that He is God. Our strength and safety are not in noise making, murmuring, complaining or fighting back by ourselves but in the power of prayer.
Yes! God still answers prayers, even today in your case. Pray and believe it shall be well with you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Shalom and good morning.
