GOD’S REASSURANCE IN TIMES OF CRISIS

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

They got up at once, returned to Yerushalayim and found the Eleven gathered together with their friends, saying, “It’s true! The Lord has risen! Shim‘on saw him!” (Luke 24:33-34)

They left at once and hurried back to Jerusalem to tell the other disciples. When they found the Eleven and the other disciples all together, they overheard them saying, “It’s really true! The Lord has risen from the dead. He even appeared to Peter!”

GOD’S REASSURANCE IN TIMES OF CRISIS
The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth, He’ is Adonai Elohim!
He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to His saints and to him who has no might He increases strength.

God could have kept Daniel out of the lion’s den.
He could have kept Paul and Silas out of jail.
He could have kept the three Hebrew children out of the fiery furnace, but God has never promised to keep us out of hard places.

What God has promised is to go with us through every hard place and to bring us through victoriously for His glory in Jesus mighty name!

Crisis time is a period when the foundation of one’s faith is shaken by situations. It is a period when circumstances begin to question all that we believe or stand for. It is the time when our very existence, career, family, security and health is severely threatened. Crisis is the time when things go haywire.

WHAT DO WE MEAN BY THE WORD “CRISIS”?
The word “crisis” means a turning point or moment of truth. Crisis is a stage in a sequence of events at which the trend of all future events are determined.

For the Christian believer, it may be a point at which the decision to continue or not to continue in faith to worship in the present church or not.

Beloved saints of God, crisis time must be prayerfully and scripturally handled, because the future of the person, people or family concerned depends on the outcome of the crisis. Pastors or leaders in particular needs divine wisdom and guidance as they minister to restore faith, hope and joy to those in crisis.

Those going through crisis must be reassured of God’s unchanging love and also that of the church to show concern for their welfare.

A LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST IS A CRISIS!

Shalom and good morning.
