Dearly Beloved in the Lord,
Is your name written in the Book of life?
YES! or NO! Only two answers. And definitely your heart will know the answer for sure!
YES! If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, have repented of your sins, have asked Him to be the Lord and Saviour of your life and you are currently living a life according to His word.
NO! If you have rejected Jesus, denied Him and refuse to believe that He is the Son of God who came to the earth, lived a pure and sinless life and died for your sins, rose again and is seated at God’s right hand and will come one day for His saints.
If you want to change your response from No to Yes, now is the time. NOW! Don’t leave the decision for tomorrow or another day, for you may never see the day! You can’t predict what will happen to you, even the next minute or hour. So act NOW and call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. But if your response is YES you do not need to worry about what may happen because you are in Christ! And your life is in Him here and the next.
What is the current state of your heart? Is it all ready and prepared if Jesus were to come now? Or do you have a long list of do’s before you get prepared and ready. Firstly, you don’t believe Jesus is coming soon. Secondly you believe you have all the time in your hands to do what you want and you can prepare sometime later but not now. Spiritual preparation is sadly not a priority now in your life. Beloved, there is no time. Wake up. Hear this! Amend your ways while there is grace now. The Lord says “Amend your ways and your doings…” Jeremiah 7:3. Amend means to make a change, to turn from your wicked ways, correct your works and deeds and obey the Lord. Isaiah the prophet speaks to us, “Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7). Look at the state of your heart, your spiritual life, your attitude to the Lord in worship, prayer, preaching to others, loving others etc. Make changes where necessary. The Lord Himself says to you, “Repent, and turn from all your transgressions, so that iniquity will not be your ruin.Cast away from you all the transgressions which you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit” (Ezekiel 18:30b-31). Repent! Turn around! Seek the Lord. Invite the Lord into your heart to help you make changes, create a new awareness to change spiritual atmospheres, stir up your heart with love and zeal for the Lord. Invite the Lord to be your all everyday in your life. While there is grace respond quickly.
In the love of Jesus,
