Beloved Mothers,
It is the Lord God who called and chose you in this special ministry. He equipped you in your body to bear children and also with ability, skills, insights, creative ideas, quickening of your mind in emergencies with solutions, multitasking capabilities, increasing capacity to love and so much more. You are a woman of strength and mighty valor(Proverbs 31:10) a term that expresses military prowess. It combines skill, bravery and strategic ability in the battlefield. You are a warring wife. Valor, in Hebrew can be translated as “mighty; wealthy; excellent; morally righteous; full of substance; integrity; abilities and strength; mighty like an army.”
You are also full of wealth, wisdom, beauty, honor and excellence! (Proverbs 31:25) Reading this you may say that nothing of this resembles you, but this is what the Lord says of you in the Bible. As you walk more and more in awe and reverence of the Lord (Proverbs 31:30), as you invite more of Him into your life and every situation, obey all He says to you, yield yourself to partner with Him and hear His counsel in all matters involved in this special ministry of being a mother, others will begin to recognise you as “a woman of strength and mighty valor.” The enemy who is out to steal, kill and destroy, always prowls around looking how to destroy you and disintegrate your family. He constantly brings distractions to keep your mind occupied, anxious, worried, makes your body weak, weary, tired, stirs rejection, unappreciation, brokenness, frustration and depletes your resources. He never gives up because he wants to see you down, cursing God and dead. But praise God for you are a woman of mighty valor. You will not allow these fiery darts of the enemy trap, hold or devour you for you stand daily with the armour of God (Ephesians 6:10-20) and in constant prayer, for you intercede even in the night seasons. You are anointed with strength, power and might in all your works (Proverbs 31:17). Your choices, behaviour, attitude and words display your godly character. You are unaffected by those who look down on you because you know your value and worth comes from the Lord Most High who made you His beloved daughter lavishing His love on you. You will not watch life carry your children along but through wisdom, godly values and unceasing prayer, direct them into the divine plans and godly purposes for their lives. You know the authority given to you to tread upon serpents, scorpions and all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19) and in the victorious name and triumph (Colossians 2:15) of the Lord Jesus you always rise above the defeat and destruction planned against your family and you. Hallelujah! Today as you are cherished and appreciated, yield yourself in a greater measure with all that’s entrusted into your hands to serve the Lord. Continue nurturing, raising up godly generations, imparting the word of God, emphasising the importance of prayer and biblical values.
Inspire this and the coming generations with your close walk with the Lord, love, sacrifice, devotion and prayers. Press on in greater faith, more worship and prayer, greater selfless sacrifices, a cheerful countenance, joy and encouragement to all. Everyday build yourself in the Word of God and praying in tongues. Never give up on prayer.
Keep going with undiminished perseverance, strength and sustaining power from the Lord and the world will see you a model, light and testimony shining like a star for the Lord. Then the world will know what God can do with one who partners fully with Him and surrenders totally to Him. The Lord bless you Mothers!
