“BE DETERMINED TO PERSEVERE TO THE END!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“However, we want each one of you to keep showing the same diligence right up to the end, when your hope will be realized; so that you will not become sluggish, but will be imitators of those who by their trust and patience are receiving what has been promised.” (Hebrews 6:11-12)
We long to see you passionately advance until the end and you find your hope fulfilled. So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.
A CALL TO PERSEVERE TILL THE END
A very interesting sight to watch in nature is the salmon fish swimming back to its breeding site. It goes against every tide, wave, and obstacle across its way, heading forward only with one goal – to reach its breeding place.
During this difficult journey, there is no one on the bank of the river to cheer the fish to keep it going.
Most of us when we are caught up in situations of great trials instead of trusting the Lord and pressing on, we become weary and faint and like Jonah say, “It is better for me to die than to live” (Jonah 4:8).
Do you find yourself in a position where before you are huge mountains of obstacles and you are discouraged to find that there is no one to cheer you, no one to encourage and support you in what you are going through?
At these times, have you become weary in heart like Jonah and wished to die? My beloved, what you go through may not be easy, and no one around you might understand you. Probably no one will.
If you are waiting for someone to come by and say, “O you poor thing, look at how you are suffering” then you’d better not waste your time. Even if someone does say so, it will not help you. Rather, remind yourself that the Lord Jesus intercedes for you
Who then is left to condemn us? Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave His life for us, and even more than that, He has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at His right hand. So, how could He possibly condemn us since He is continually praying for our triumph. (Romans 8:34).
PRESS ON TO THE END IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!
Sabbath shalom and good morning.
