FPT: NARRATIVE TO EXERCISE DISCIPLINE
Senior Pastor Daniel O. C. | Sep 27, 2024
Beloved Saint of God Most High,
Calvary greetings to you and yours in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Amen!
May the Lord God Almighty bless you with a wonderful and glorious Christ-centred week-end ahead in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
“For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:10-12).
As we enter into God’s faith-rest life we cease from our own works, just as God celebrates His finished works and rests in them.
So, then we must be eager to experience this faith-rest life, so that no one falls short by following the same pattern of doubt and unbelief.
For we have the living Word of God, which is full of energy, like a two-mouthed sword.
It will even penetrate to the very core of our being where soul and spirit, bone and marrow meet!
It interprets and reveals the true thoughts and secret motives of our hearts.
NARRATIVES TO EXERCISE DISCIPLINE
We are not machines.
We need rest.
We need time.
We need space.
We need laughter.
We need love and perhaps most importantly, we need each other.
Without ambition, one starts nothing.
Without work, one finishes nothing.
The prize will not be sent to you for you need to win it.
Commitment leads to action.
Action brings your dream closer.
Divine ability in Christ Jesus does wonders.
To concentrate on the Lord God and to use your time well is everything if you want to succeed in life.
Remember, Men of genius are admired. Men of wealth are envied.
Men of power are feared but only Men of character in Christ Jesus are trusted.
Remember, the trust of the innocent is the liar’s most useful tool.
Truth in Christ Jesus is like a surgery, It hurts, but it heals.
A lie is like a painkiller; It gives instant relief, but has side effects forever.
It takes a lot of courage and grace of God to push through hard times.
Never give up. Good things are coming your way in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
Somebody shout a loud, “AMEN & AMEN!”
Remain blessed and rapturable,
Yours to reach this generation with the Gospel,
Dr. Daniel O. C.
