YOU ARE CONSECRATED TO GLORIFY THE NAME OF THE LORD

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

But the things that used to be advantages for me, I have, because of the Messiah, come to consider a disadvantage. Not only that, but I consider everything a disadvantage in comparison with the supreme value of knowing the Messiah Yeshua……..” (Philippians 3:7-8)

Yet all of the accomplishments that I once took credit for, I’ve now forsaken them and I regard it all as nothing compared to the delight of experiencing Jesus Christ as my Lord!

To truly know Him meant letting go of everything from my past and throwing all my boasting on the garbage heap. It’s all like a pile of manure to me now, so that I may be enriched in the reality of knowing Jesus Christ and embrace Him as Lord in all of His greatness.

Consecration is putting God first in your life, above those whom you love, above what you own, above everything else in your life. Reading the Bible, abiding in His word, dwelling in His presence daily, and being counted among the saints is consecration.

Is your life consecrated unto the Lord? Are you like the rich man who went away sadly because riches had a big place in his heart above God? When you were born again, you consecrated yourself to the Lord but since then, how has your life been?

When you consecrate yourself to the Lord, you will never do anything that is against His word. Your whole life will be focused on doing things that please Him. Your whole heart will be set to walk in the ways of the Lord and in obedience to His divine will.

Jim Elliot, one of the five missionaries to Ecuador who was martyred by the Aucas, said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”

Beloved, you are the chosen one of God. You are set apart to glorify the name of the Lord. Have you given your whole life to be consecrated and to be used by the Lord?

The number of years that you may live here may just be a few. What matters is the relationship you build with the Lord God Almighty.

What you have given of yourself for Him, what you have sacrificed of your possessions for His glorious kingdom to be extended in this planet earth, are the things that will last.

Will you consecrate yourself, your life and all the most precious things close to your heart to the Lord today?

Yes, Adonai Yahweh, You are my Rock and my Fortress; therefore for Your name’s sake lead me and guide me in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Somebody shout a loud and resounding, “HALLELUJAH AMEN!

Sabbath shalom and good morning.
