“WE MUST LIVE A GODLY TESTIMONIAL LIFE”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“For we take pride in this: Our conscience assures us that in our dealings with the world, and especially with you, we have conducted ourselves with frankness and godly pureness of motive — not by worldly wisdom but by God-given grace” (2 Corinthians 1:12).
We rejoice in saying with complete honesty and a clear conscience that God has empowered us to conduct ourselves in a holy manner and with no hidden agenda. God’s marvelous grace enables us to minister to everyone with pure motives, not in the clever wisdom of the world. This is especially true in all of our dealings with you.
WE MUST LIVE A GODLY TESTIMONIAL LIFE
Teach me, Lord to keep sweet and gentle in all the events of life. In disappointments, in thoughtlessness of others. In the insincerity of those I trust.
In the unfaithfulness of those on whom I relied. O Lord, help me to learn from my mistakes and to be strong in Your counsel.
- We must not use flattering words to deceive the innocent (1 Thessalonians 2:5-7).
- We must not be a burden to others (1 Thessalonians 2:9).
- We must conduct ourselves in a godly manner (1 Thessalonians 2:10-12).
- We must not be shaken by afflictions (1 Thessalonians 3:3-4).
- We must be sanctified and also abstain from sexual immorality (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5).
- We must not take advantage of others (1 Thessalonians 4:6-7).
- We must aspire to lead a quiet life (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12).
- We must not be ignorant of the rapture and the coming of the Lord (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
- We must know that the day of the Lord is at hand (1 Thessalonians 5:1-5).
- We must not sleep or be in slumber (1 Thessalonians 5:6-8).
- We are not appointed to God’s wrath (1 Thessalonians 5:9-10).
- We must recognise those who labour for the Lord (1 Thessalonians 5:12-13).
- We must encourage the brethren (1 Thessalonians 5:14-15).
- We must rejoice always (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
God always makes His grace visible in Christ, who includes us as partners of His endless triumph. Through our yielded lives He spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God, Adonai Hashem everywhere we go.
Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Sabbath shalom and good morning.
