“ATTRIBUTES OF HOLINESS AND SANCTIFICATION (CONT’D)”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“Therefore Adonai says, ‘Go out from their midst; separate yourselves; don’t even touch what is unclean. Then I myself will receive you. In fact, I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters.’ says Adonai-Tzva’ot” (2 Cor 6:17-18).

For this reason, Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch nothing that is unclean, and I will embrace you. I will be a true Father to you, and you will be my beloved sons and daughters, says the Lord Yahweh Almighty.

ATTRIBUTES OF HOLINESS AND SANCTIFICATION (Part 2)
The following attributes manifest when a believer is sanctified:

Love For Unbelievers (John 3:16)
God loves sinners but hates their sins.
God loved us so much that He gave His only begotten Son for the propitiation of our sins.
As regenerated and sanctified believers we must be ready to lay down our lives, time and talents on the altar to win souls for the Lord our God.

Integrity (Malachi 2:6-7 / Acts 24:16)
The tongue of a sanctified believer is bridled.
A sanctified believer walks with God in peace and equity. He leads many people to the Lord too. Paul the Apostle boldly declared that he had always a conscience void of offence towards God and man. Do you have the same testimony?

Endurance (1 Corinthians 13:7)
A sanctified believer is enduring. He exercises long-suffering and patience. A believer who is an employee must be subject to his employer.
A woman believer with unbelieving husband must learn to endure hardship, trials and afflictions, yet without compromising her faith.

Self-denial (Matthew 16:24-25 / Philippians 3:17-18)
As true believers, we must maintain a life of self-denial and sacrifice. We must learn to deny ourselves of many things in this life for heaven’s sake. All those things that do not glorify God but which we consider to be important must be forsaken because of the love of Christ. We must learn to deny ourselves of luxuries and personal convenience in order to minister to the need and necessity of others.

Separation (Romans 12:1-2 / 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 / Isaiah 52:11)
A sanctified believer will not conform to this world. Worldly habits, dressing, worldly mannerisms and customs must be put behind us. All of us who bear the vessel of the Lord must touch no unclean things. The Holy Spirit of God within us will revolt at every form of worldliness.

Sanctification is the second work of grace received by faith in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!
