WALK OF A NEW LIFE

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical ‘Temple worship’ for you.” (Romans 12:1)

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of all the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies, presenting all your members and faculties as a living sacrifice, holy devoted, consecrated and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable, rational and intelligent service and spiritual worship.

WALK OF A NEW LIFE

The clock of life is wound but once, and no man has the power to tell when the hands will stop, at late or early hour.
To lose one’s health is sad indeed, to lose one’s soul is such a loss that no man can restore. Life is a long lesson in humility.

As God put a difference between light and darkness so also does a great difference exist between the natural unconverted person and the supernatural converted person who now walks in newness of life.

The unconverted person is empty of the grace of God. He is worldly and full of himself or herself.

The unconverted person is not under the control of God and also he is ignorant of the righteousness of God.
He has no fellowship with God. He is separated from God and as well lacks the divine power and strength.

A person may be great, honourable and respected in the society but if he does not have Christ, there is no use for such a life.

Someone may seem to be interested in God by being religious and by belonging to one club or society of the elite to do works of charity but without the knowledge of Christ this also is vanity.

Some other people may even belong to a church but without knowing Jesus Christ as personal Saviour and Lord, this is also vanity (Psalms 7:11 / Ephesians 2:8). But a converted person is totally different, because he knows God and pleases God too.

CHARACTERISTICS OF AN UNCONVERTED PERSON
An unconverted person lives a life that is contrary to the Word of God.
The condition of his or her life is evil continuously.

HE / SHE IS CHARACTERISED BY:-
Lying and falsehood (1 Timothy 4:2)
Anger / bitterness and wrath (Colossians 3:8 / Ephesians 4:26 / Psalms 37:8)

Stealing, manipulation and covetousness (Proverbs 21:26 / Micah 2:2 / Ephesians 4:28 / 1 Peter 4:15)
Evil speaking and being a busybody (Ephesians 4:29-30 / 1 Peter 2:1 / James 3:6 / 4:11)

Clamour and malice (Ephesians 4:31 / 1 Corinthians 14:20)
Unforgiving spirit and revenge (Colossians 3:13-14 / Ephesians 4:32)

Adultery and fornication (1 Corinthians 6:9 / James 4:4)
Hatred (1 John 3:15)

Shedding of blood through abortion (Romans 3:15 / Proverbs 6:17 / Isaiah 59:3)
Worldliness and idolatry (James 4:4 / 1 John 2:15-17 / Isaiah 3:16)

You who reads this today, depart from evil continuously and it shall be well with you in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Sabbath shalom and good morning.
