GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST FOR SENDING TO US A SAVIOUR, CHRIST THE LORD!

HALLELUJAH THE SAVIOUR IS BORN. LET US REJOICE AND BE GLAD!

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

But the angel said to them, “Don’t be afraid, because I am here announcing to you Good News that will bring great joy to all the people. This very day, in the town of David, there was born for you a Deliverer who is the Messiah, the Lord…” (Luke 2:10-14)

Then the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid, for I have come to bring you good news, the most joyous news the world has ever heard! And it is for everyone everywhere! For today in Bethlehem a rescuer was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the Messiah.”

“You will recognize him by this miraculous sign: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in the feeding trough!” Then all at once in the night sky, a vast number of glorious angels appeared, the very armies of heaven! And they all praised God, singing:

“Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven! For there is peace and a good hope given to the sons of men.”

A great relief it was when Alexander Graham Bell announced to the world the invention of the telephone enabling speech to be transmitted along a wire or cable.

Good news it was when Michael Faraday discovered electricity, which laid the foundation of electrical engineering.

A memorable event took place when the British scientist, J. J. Thompson discovered the electrons, a fundamental particle found in all forms of matter, which paved the way for electronics, lasers, television, computer images and medical scanning.

All these inventions no doubt have altered tremendously the way we live.

But the angels found nothing exciting about them to announce to the world as they did at the birth of Christ Jesus. Why? Because the joy and benefits we derived from the invention of telephone, electricity, electrons and printing press cannot be compared with the joy and benefits we have in the birth of the Saviour Jesus Christ.

THEREFORE, LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD!

Everybody shout a loud, “PRAISE THE LORD!

Blessed and joyful Christmas to you and your household in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen!

Shalom and good morning.
