“A TRANSFORMED TONGUE BRINGS FORTH GOOD FRUIT!”

Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:

“They bend their tongues, their ‘bow’ of falsehood, and hold sway in the land, but not for truth. For they go from evil to evil, and me they do not know,” says Adonai” (Jeremiah 9:3)

They bend their tongue, which is their bow for the lies they shoot. And not according to faithfulness do they rule and become strong in the land; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they do not know and understand and acknowledge Me, says the Lord, Adonai Yahweh.

Your tongue may prove that you do not know the Lord. When you slander, disparage and twist words against others, you are indirectly destroying yourself.

Are you given to lies? Is your conscience exercised to resist the truth? Have you mastered the art of deceit? Have you surrounded yourself with deceitful people? Destruction awaits the culprit. (Jeremiah 9:7-9)

ISAIAH 33:1
Maybe people deliberately refuse to talk about your fault given even though they know you are tricky, treacherous, and crafty, but the good Lord will deal with you.

You need to repent today of all the negative things you have said. The Lord is willing to forgive you if you approach Him in repentance. (Hebrews 13:15) Fruit of the transformed tongue.

JOSEPH
Joseph was cruelly sold to slavery. He moved from slavery to prison. Yet he kept the virtue of a bridled tongue. Then when the opportunity came for him to help others to interpret dreams while in dungeon, he did it gladly. He did not allow the cruelty of his brothers and Potiphar to influence his tongue negatively.

DAVID
David was destined to the throne, but Saul did not want him to reign. He cruelly chased him to take away his life. There came a day when David had the opportunity to kill Saul yet he did not, even though he was advised to do so by his servants. David said that he would not touch God’s anointed.

Our lips must not utter perverse things irrespective of what people think or say about us.

CALEB AND JOSHUA
The companions of Caleb and Joshua had said it was not possible for Israel to possess the land, but Caleb and Joshua confessed that they were able to possess the land. The Lord gave them the fruits of the lips. We can imitate them by confessing and saying the same thing God has said about us.

ISAIAH 57:19
God always gives people the confession of their lips. David defeated Goliath because of his confession and trust in the Lord.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego overcame because they confessed to king Nebuchadnezzar that their God would deliver them.

The centurion told Jesus that He need not come under his roof but just speak the word only and his servant would be healed and so it was.

From today, begin to confess the positive and your condition will change for the better. Let us forsake the company of liars, deceivers, cheats, slanderers, gossipers, swindlers, rogues and blasphemers and confess our sins to the Lord. Surely He will forgive us. Many blessings will flow into our life in Jesus’ name! (I John 1:9-10)
