“TIME WAITS FOR NOBODY, THEREFORE DON’T WASTE TIME!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“As long as it is day, we must keep doing the work of the One who sent me; the night is coming when no one can work.” (John 9:4)
We must work the works of Him Who sent Me and be busy with His business while it is daylight; night is coming on, when no man can work, said Adonai Yeshua!
TIME WAITS FOR NOBODY
It seems like yesterday when we entered the new year. Behold, that
has already gone by. Of course, time waits for no man and the clock never stops ticking away time by the second.
Days succeed one another with the speed of a breeze. Even now, as you read this message, time marches forward to the ceaseless tick tock of the clock, and life goes on, rising and falling to its musical beat.
One second ticks in a moment of joy, another tocks out a moment of sadness.
One second ticks in a time of bliss, another tocks out a wail of woe. One second ticks in the laughter of victory, another tocks out a cry of defeat.
Now a song on the lips and then a lament in the heart. Now a story of love and then an epic of hatred. Now a cruise to the mountain top and then a descent into the valley of the shadow of death.
Oh yes, the good follows the bad and the bad the good; and both intermingle in the music of time and in the march of life. In the same second that a baby cries and kicks its way into life, an adult gasps his or her last breath, perhaps in the same hospital.
As a baby is held high and close to its mother’s breast and is introduced to the milk of life, an adult is laid low and shut into a long wooden box, tucked into a hole six feet into the earth or pushed into the furnace of a crematorium.
It seems as one comes in, the other goes out. Yes, such is life, so we are told. Tick tock, tick tock with every stroke, some go up and some come down. What is up today may be down tomorrow and what is down today may be up tomorrow.
One is brought down and another is raised up; one is raised up and another is brought down.
“TIME IS SHORT, BUT WE MAKE IT SHORTER BY WASTING IT.”
Shalom and good morning.
