“BE RENEWED WITH A STEADFAST & PERSEVERING SPIRIT!”
Saints of God Most High, hear God’s word for you today:
“Create in me a clean heart, God; renew in me a resolute spirit” (Psalms 51:10).
Create in me a clean heart, O God, Adonai ELOHIM, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.
Birthdays are reminders that we are growing older each year.
It is also a grim reminder that we are closer to the grave than we were ever before. Of course, many are scared of this fact.
Man is trying through many means to prevent the decaying of his outer physical self. But the word of God in 2 Corinthians 4:16 tells us, “Therefore, we do not become discouraged, utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear. Though our outer man is progressively decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being progressively renewed day after day.”
The question is whether we are making an effort to renew our inner man day by day so that our walk is closer with the Lord as never before.
The emphasis and time that we devote to maintain our outer man to look youthful, attractive, and pleasing should never outdo our effort in the renewing of our inner man day by day. Ultimately, at the end of our lives, it is the standing of the inner man with God that really counts.
You need to start today without waiting for another day. Focus your mind on God and meditate on the Word of God. Increase your prayer time and the intensity of your heart cry to the Lord.
Open your heart to the Word of God each day that the Holy Spirit may perform surgery inside of you and cut away every excess of the flesh, sin, pride, stubbornness, and rebelliousness to the Lord.
Renew your mind day by day and conform your walk to the standards of the Lord. Then, when the enemy brings his floods of wickedness, you will not be swept off your ground unguarded.
Let this same attitude, purpose, and humble mind be in us, which was in Christ Jesus. Let Him be our example in humility.
Somebody shout, “PRAISE THE LORD!”
Shalom and good morning.
